Give your home a vintage country chic touch with our reprint of an 1896 long-format poster featuring over 70 different varieties of British butterflies. We cleaned up a color chromolithographic plate taken from our copy of an 1896 bound-volume of the Boy's Own Paper to offer you this fabulous reprint that will appeal to anyone who loves butterflies & has a flair for boho-chic gifts. We also think it will also make a great gift for kids who are really into science & nature. This commanding Victorian reprint can easily fit a variety of other rooms & decor styles! It really works well when you need to fill a long vertical space. We have 6 sizes available: 10x20" 12x24" 15x30" 16x32" 20x40", 24x48". The smaller two sizes work best as decor pieces where wall space is at a premium while the largest two sizes will put a dramatic stamp on a room's look. However, we strongly recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost of the fine art paper & amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for the wrong size chosen. (We do, however, offer refunds & exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.) A note regarding frames: We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/framing store or arttoframe.com. Arttoframe.com does have a variety of frame styles for all six sizes. As we mentioned earlier, we own a copy of the original poster. We've made some digital corrections where it made sense, but the original plate did have some damage, foxing, & light color fading. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it but is very thick. Your print comes in a heavy-duty mailing tube via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long.
