This heating pad is filled with Flax Seed & rice but not totally full. I leave plenty of space for the rice to move around so it can mold to your aching muscles. Colors vary due to lighting & differences in computer screens. I do my best to show the correct color & give detailed descriptions for all my listings. This Rice Heating Pad is perfect to ease your aching & sore muscles. I have tried just about every kind of heating pad that are on the market. I have awful spine issues which causes my need for heat to ease my pain. I finally tried making my own Rice Heating wrap. I tried different sizes, shapes, & fillings before I settled on this heating pad. This hot cold pack is perfect to ease lower back pain, cramps, or knee pain. Using a microwave rice bag makes a hotter heating pad than an electric one. I have found that I need that extra heat but not too hot on my skin. I don't use aroma therapy because it causes my migraines to become worse. My husband has used a rice heating pad for years. He swears once you try a microwave heating pad you will never go back to an electrical one. When the heat from my rice heating pad isn't working for me I will grap a heating pad that I placed in a zip lock bag from my freezer. It also is the perfect cool temperature to ease my tight muscles. All my listings are hand made by me & come from a smoke free, dog loving home.
