Capodimonte 5 point crown mark, Ca., 1925, made by the Industria Lombardo Porcellane Artistche, founded in 1925, by Signora Carozzi, became "Industry of Artistic Porcelain". This white parrot sitting on the nest, on a cobalt blue branch is a beautiful example of what Capodimonte fine porcelains were & are famous for. The sharp edges on the branches are supposed to be there, the sharp edge of the beak is supposed to be there, the tail is sharp, which is supposed to be there. If the tail was any longer, it would touch the surface it is sitting on, & break off. in characteristic Capodimonte, this Ca. 1925 uncommon, & rare find, will make a stunning addition or a new beginning to heirloom figurines you will admire for many years.
