Here's a unique item. This is an engraved employee retirement medal from Reese's. That's right. The peanut butter cup company. As you may know, Reese's is owned by the Hershey Company, formerly known as Hershey Foods as shown on the front of the medal. The medal also features an iconic image of statue of Milton S. Hershey with one of "his" boys, in a nod to the Milton Hershey School which he & his wife Catherine founded. The statue is in Founders Hall, which is the building shown on the right side of the medal. On the left is the original factory with the smokestacks & the cocoa bushes. Unfortunately, Hershey is a town that preserves almost nothing & that factory was torn down in 2012. The back of the medal is engraved with the recipient's name & years of service & I can tell you she made Kit Kat bars all those years. This is in the original box, complete with the stand.
