Flaming heart, hearts afire, burning love... This listing is for one flaming anatomical heart sculpture in a bell jar. The heart is on a small glass support that sits in a hole in the bell jar base so that it can be removed from the base for shipping & cleaning. The bell jar is commercially manufactured & is 4 1/2" tall & 2 1/2" wide. The base is 4" wide. The heart is made from borosilicate glass using a process called flameworking in which rods of clear & colored glass are heated & formed with a very hot (approximately 5000 degrees Fahrenheit) flame.
