Ten (10) vintage Botanical Congress: Lady's Slipper 6 cent stamps. Scott # 1377 Issued: 1969 Cypripedium Reginae, or Lady's Slipper, is an orchid that can live for over 20 years. The slipper-shapped pouch that gives them their name traps insects inside, forcing them to climb out, collecting or depositing pollen on the way & helping to fertilize the flower. These pretty Lady's Slipper stamps will add the perfect touch to your postcards or letters. You can also use these in scrap booking or other craft projects, even frame them. All stamps are unused & in mint condition with their original gum intact. Reminder: the rates as of January 21st 2024 are 68 cents for letters, 53 cents for postcards.
