Altered Alice in Wonderland artwork with roses & butterflies. The artwork is printed on upcycled rescued antique dictionary pages. Every page is different so each piece is a unique & one of a kind. The dictionary pages are from an antique dictionary of the English language printed in 1897. The actual printed page you will receive will be selected from the same set of antique dictionaries. Page size approximately 8x11 (20.32 cm x 27.94 cm) with slight variations. The set of dictionaries that I currently work with I found on the "Free To A Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four volume leather bound set was very much out of date & in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.) I couldn't let them be destroyed & I hoped that others would love & appreciate their beauty as much as I did.
