Vintage Miniature Cast Aluminum Colonial Castings Kettle with Swivel Lid & Wire Handle. It is not made of cast iron, just painted black. It was made using the "sand casting method" by James Crawley. This very small tea kettle might be a salesman sample, or it might be a child's toy, or maybe just a very small kettle - I am not an expert, so I don't know for certain what it's use was or how old it is. Kettle measures about 3.25" tall to top of spout, about 5.25" long from back to spout, & about 3.75" wide. It has some scuffs & scratches, but it's in otherwise very good vintage condition.
