This is a beautiful new handmade unfinished batik quilt top made of premium quilt shop quality fabrics in multi-color bold batiks including blues, greens, pinks, reds, & yellows. The bold & bright colors in this quilt top remind me of a recent trip to Jamaica. Be sure to zoom in on the close-up photos as there are at least 25-30 different batiks used. This would make a striking wall quilt, lap quilt, or throw quilt for your home. This would look great as a sofa throw in a neutral colored living room & could be a statement piece for the entire room. Size: The quilt top measures 57" x 68" including borders as shown. It is pieced together for you & ready to quilt. Fabric: The squares are modern quilt shop quality 100% cotton batiks & the black cotton is from Robert Kaufman fabrics (also 100% Kona cotton). Blocks: It is machine pieced & made with many different batiks with very few duplicates. The blocks are 5" finished. Each batik strip is bordered by a solid black cotton. Border: The outer border is 4" wide, black cotton, & professionally seamed on the diagonal. This listing is for the unfinished quilt top only. You will need to provide backing, batting, quilting, & binding. You could also add another border to make this quilt larger. Made in a smoke-free home. Colors: I have done my best to show the colors as accurately as possible, but due to different monitors the colors may appear slightly darker than they actually are.
