A VERY RARE piece of Masonic History! A brass medal from the Grand Encampment of Minnesota Inst. June 7, 1871. This wonderful medallion hangs from a chain from the State Seal of Minnesota that is wonderfully adorned with Gophers on each side of the seal. Wonderful graphics on the front of the medallion. The Eye, Tent, Shepherds Hooks, & 3 Ring Chain. It is in excellent condition! The back has 2 different closures. It also has the maker's mark, but I can not read it. The medallion is 1 1/5 inches in diameter, the State of MN seal piece is 2 inches x 1 inch, & total height of the piece is 3 inches.
