Description
This is a striking tie dyed felted wool head shawl embroidered in spiritual motifs. There are human figures, tree or plant motifs which may represent the tree of life idea, fish & other plant motifs. The design is like a pastiche of cosmic images including the tie dyed spots on the felt. The top is lined with colorful pompoms & the bottom in braided tassels. It is a wonderful piece traditionally used during weadings & other ceremonies.
