It begins at the intricately designed clasp. Almost a touch of a Roman & Greek design inspiration. From there the beauty of the vintage Monet statement necklace explodes. Delicate chains, nine of each side, cascade down to an impressively designed, & sized, pendant. The eclectic pendant has a checkboard floating style center, that is framed with a brush gold-plate oval frame design. At the top of the frame are two rows of scrolls, diamond shapes & gold tone beads. Dripping from the bottom is another vast cascade of 16 chains that are attached to either side of the pendant. Phenomenal piece of vintage Monet jewelry. Condition is very good. The plating is bright. The chains are present & intact. Unclasp, the necklace measures 17 inches. The drop on the necklace measures 7 1/2 inches. The Monet mark is located on both tops clasps & on the pendant.
