From a time before tire shops this fun functional antique tool was designed to remove rubber tire from underlying rim for repair & replacement. Rugged cast iron form in great working condition easily repurposes into industrial hooks etc. Commonly used with Model A & T Ford wheels. Measures: WEIGHS 7 lbS = folds down to 13" x 5.5" x 5.5" deep at handle opens 23.5" wide = Cast iron construction -No makers ID but I believe it to be a variation on the Pacific model. Light cosmetic wear & rust but cleaned & sprayed with silicon so gears move smoothly.
