Owl eyed butterfly, Taenaris urania from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 6.5"x6.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name & country of origin printed below. You will receive the exact same framed specimen shown in the pictures. This is the light form, I have the dark form available in a separate listing. Wingspan measures a little over 4 inches. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, & television & film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time & put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
