Description
In the years before air conditioning allowing the air to flow through a house to cool it was the way you did it. To keep the breeze from closing the doors you needed to prop them open & heavier doors required a heavy door stop. This cast iron stop is in the shape of a black cat with a great expressive face. The paint is original & it was likely placed at a door somewhere that it got wet as the bottom has light surface rust. It looks fantastic though the way it is.
