This listing is for 10 organic butternut squash seeds. Sow seeds 1/2-1'' deep indoors in spring/early April. Harden off the seedlings after the last frosts before planting them out. You can also sow seeds directly in your garden in late May or early June. The seeds germinate best at 95 degrees Fahrenheit, according to Cornell University, but they germinate within one week when temperatures range between 70 & 95 degrees. The seeds germinate slowly, or not at all, when soil temperatures fall below 60 degrees. Plant butternut seeds outdoors in late spring to early summer. These seeds are of good quality.
