I was always told in collecting, that you should buy the item, don't buy the story. Meaning don't listen to someone talking up a item trying to get a higher price for the item. But.... Listen to this story!! I was at a sale, & saw these huge 1 pound spice tins I love the little spice tins they display great great subject matter love them! These are better yet they are so big! & there was a lot of them! I believe there was 9 different spices. Two ladies running the sale told me the story. Their father/husband was a POW in World War Two. Spent years in a German POW camp. When he got out he was barley a 100 pounds?! He vowed never to be hungry again! The wife said not only did he buy these high spice containers.... He bought them by THE CASE! I fell in love with the story & had to share it with you! The containers are in used condition some may have spice residue inside. There may be condition issues such as slight surface rust, dents, dings & scratches. Over all very good condition.
