This interesting box is perfect for jewelry, trinkets, or even desk accessories. It was made by Elegance out of Silver Plated Zinc as you can see in the last picture as it shows the original label. On the turtle back shaped lid it has the British or United Kingdom Coat of Arms. It has 4 lion head & claws as feet. The inside of the box has dark red velvet in the bottom & the same color felt paper on the top. This is to hide the music box. The key is there & states "Sankyo". The music box does work & plays the song "Where Do I Begin" the "Love Story Theme". This box is 6-1/8" wide x 5-1/8" deep x 2-7/8" tall when the lid is closed. This box is from the 1970s. It is very nice silver plate. It is still intact. It could use a good polishing if you want it to be shiny. There is some dried polish on the felt & mixed in with the lion heads. The pin in the hinge is loose & slides out to the side. It is easy to push back in. I did not try to take it out completely.
