Potato, & Onion Bin. This rustic primitive potato & onion bin is hand made from knotty pine wood, & black hammered hinges. It is unfinished so it can be stained or painted the color of your choice. Taters is hand routered on the lid, & onions is hand routered on the onion drawer. The front has a cut out star with poultry netting behind it which not only looks good, but serves as extra air holes for potatoes, plus there are holes in the back for air to circulate. There are several imperfections in the wood which gives it a more rustic look. It is securely held together with wood glue & brad nails. The onion & potato compartment is separated with plywood, & the back is luan plywood. The height is 24", the width is 11.25", & the depth is 12". It will hold a 10lb bag of potatoes, & the onion drawer will hold approximately 4 to 5 large onions. This Farmhouse style potato & onion bin would make a lovely addition to your kitchen for storing your potatoes, & onions. Or it would make a wonderful Gift.
