Description
Lovely & ladylike, this dress features a gorgeous extended vine print embellished with three dimensional yellow flowers. It is cut somewhere between a shift & a sheath, with a nipped in waist but a skirt full enough for easy movement - extra space added by one two inch pleat down the left front. The fabric is a sturdy cotton or cotton blend - I want to say hopsack, as it reminds me of the Levi's Sta-prest pants of the 60s, but I'm not sure the exact name for this weave. Research on the maker & the fabrication could place this anywhere from the 1940s to 1960s, but the somewhat mod styling makes me guess the 60s.
