Description
This is a colorful 70s vintage Guatemalan cotton jacket! It's thick, heavy, sturdy woven cotton with red, yellow, green & blue animals, birds & geometric shapes in a horizontal stripe design on a black background. It has long sleeves, a notched collar, a straight hem & two large patch pockets. It's unlined inside & it closes with two green front buttons. It's a wonderful ethnic piece to add more color to your wardrobe! This jacket is in good clean condition, freshly laundered with prior wear. We added the buttons because it had none on it when we found it, & we note that the left front pocket has a prior hand basted repaired edge, which is not very noticeable. The label says "100% Cotton, Made in Guatemala, Cottage Industry." It can be machine or hand washed cold, separately, & best to air dry, or it can be professionally dry cleaned. We can not read the faded size label & are calling it a Women's Medium based on the measurements: Chest - 38 inches, Shoulders - 15 inches, Sleeves - 21 inches, Length - 21 inches.
