Handmade art pendant necklace featuring the symbol of Web of Wyrd. The Web of Wyrd is a symbol in Norse mythology that represents the interconnectedness of past, present & future. According to the myth, the Web of Wyrd was woven by the Norns/Nornir, the Shapers of Destiny in Norse mythology. The symbol comprised of nine staves contains all the runes thus symbolizing all 'the possibilities' the past, present & future brought & might bring. It is also called 'Skuld's net' This art glass pendant has been carefully handcrafted by us in our home studios in Sweden. The art print is covered with a clear glass domed cabochon which enhances the image, then set in a high quality metal setting. The pendant measures 36x28mm including bail. Each necklace comes with a matching 60 cm chain with a lobster clasp. Please feel free to contact us if you would like the chain cut shorter/longer. All our art pendant necklaces are composed of lead - & nickel free metal & available in either silver or bronze finish. Please note that these pendants are not waterproof, so remove them before you go swimming or dancing in the rain ;-) Your necklace will arrive in a lovely organza bag ready for gift giving.
