This fabric is 36 inches wide & is sold by the yard. Multiple yards will come as one continuous piece. It is 100% cotton & was hand woven. It weighs approximately 8.5 ounces per yard. The weaving is very fine. It is a medium heavy weight that would make great baby carrier, pillow cover, bag, or lightweight jacket. All of Spanglish Fabric's fabric is hand woven in the highlands of Guatemala. They are woven on a treadle loom. The ikat design is actually dyed into the thread before it is put on the loom.
