Vintage Burlwood Music Box, Key wind Plays. Looks like Burlwood with mixed woods. Has ring storage & ring pictured not included. Plays Isle of Capri. Looks like 18 note works. When I first wound this I heard little short winding noise, it stopped, Then I opened top & it played & closed top & it kept playing. Strange box! Looks nice & clean. Then figured out that when you close the top with little pressure/ authority music stops when close & starts when open. Occasionally will make a little short winding noise reminding you when not done right. So I closed & opened 10 times in a row & worked fine as long as I used little authority. Plays non stop close to 2 minutes & first minute & half plays fast strong & sweet like new then slower & winds down. Wood has light handling marks, plays crisp & looks nice. Few very light scuffs & scratches. Looks Burlwood with Music scene on top. Box measures 5" x 4" & 2 3/8" tall. Weight is nice at 3/4 pound. Guessing made early 2000.
