Turkish antique completely handcrafted scarf. Silk needlelace embroidered on silk textile edges. Handicrafts used to have a very important place in Anatolia, the young girl who was going to get married exhibited the handicrafts she made at her wedding & proved that she could do hardworking & beautiful works. Most of these embroideries were used on important occasions & then stored in chests. This product is out of the box & has never been used, because it was folded into four & sewn from the corners.(I opened it for the first time to take a picture.) definitely not crochet lace, this is needle lace.
