Size: 9.2" tall x 3.25" diameter This Amber cork top bottle is Embossed "Witter Springs Water" on the front, & "W.M.S. Co. San Fransisco" on the bottom of the bottle. The bottle was made about 1908 to hold Medicinal Water which was supposed to cure minor ailments & diseases, but indeed was probably just the creation of a man trying to turn a quick buck. From 1850 to 1930 the United States was fertile territory for these profiteering gentlemen. Indeed the trend has carried through to today, just turn on the TV & watch the ads.
