She illustrated stories & articles for many magazines & books including Louisa May Alcott's Little Women & The Water-Babies by Charles Kingsley. This stamp of "The First Lesson" was part of a sheet of 20 different American Illustrators issued in 2001. These unused vintage stamps will look lovely on your postcards or letters. You can also use them in scrap booking or other craft projects. All stamps are unused mint condition & these particular stamps have an adhesive back.
