She is a dual goddess figure in some iterations, able to shapeshift at will & embody the maiden or Crone. She is the guardian of the sacred waters of life. Her chicken footed hut is hidden deep within the forest, only found by the unfortunate or the blessed. I could wax poetic about this ancient figure of the folklore of my ancestry, but I don't think I have enough words to describe my reverence for her. This collection is devoted to Baba Yaga & her powerful presence in folklore, & within my ancestry. She is a goddess in her own right to be revered & respected. Measures 15mm. These Crone moons are the first iteration of this design for the Baba Yaga Collection; jeweled versions will be released in the future. Crone Moons are waning moons meant to symbolize the waning phase of life, embodying crone energy, & the wisdom imparted with it. A carved, worn crescent, aged & weathered much like the crone, but ancient in its symbolism & power. Moon imagery is sacred to me & is an extension of my connection with mother moon. Individually cast & hand finished. Intentionally made from solid sterling silver moon metal that has been darkened & distressed to my favorite stormy gray shade. Take your pick of chain length finished with a secure spring ring clasp for this made to order jewel. Each one will be handmade start to finish within the stated timespan; this listing states a 9-10 week production time but orders generally are finished before then, I have the maximum time set should any issues arise during production (which I would be in direct & immediate contact with you about). Silver is associated with the moon astrologically, water elementally, & all moon & night goddesses.
