1940. From the 1940s through the 1970s, the Kungsholm restaurant offered Swedish smorgasbord from the McCormick Mansion at the corner of Rush & Ontario Streets in Chicago, Illinois. The dining room was named after Lauritz Melchior, a Danish-American opera singer who performed with the Chicago Opera from 1934 to 1945. Code 0B-H190 dates this card to 1940. This vintage lithograph postcard would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
