Drewstring reusable storage linen sacks or bags for reenactors in the medieval style, 13th - 15th century. Made to order. All visible stitches are handmade. Set includes 5 bags of different sizes. Linen bags were widely used in the Middle Ages for storing bread, cereal, grain, salt, fruits & other food, kitchen utensils, small stauff. This set sewn from high quality linen fabric with drawstring. Approximate sizes: - 4 x 5.5" (10 x 14cm) - mini - 6 x 8" (15 x 21cm) - small - 8 x 11.5" (20 x 29cm) - medium - 10 x 14" (25 x 36cm) - large - 12 x 17" (30 x 43cm) - extra large If you need another size, please contact us. We offer two types of sewing the bags: 1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. all stitches are sewn on the sewing machine. Fabric edges are processed manually. 2. Completely manual i.e. the item is sewn manually. The only type used in the Middle Ages. Materials used: - fabric - 100% linen - threads - 100% linen - drawstring - 100% cotton Item care: 1. Washing - in the washing machine up to 100oF/40oC. 2. Drying - in the tumble dryer or hang out spreding the creases. 3. Ironing - slightly wet the item & iron it.
