I found this amazing rare Miltonvale planter at an estate auction. I grabbed it due to its fabulous mid century shape & only discovered its scarcity when I got it home & began researching. Miltonvale Pottery was a ceramic maker in Miltonvale, Kansas from 1949-1956. A short production run for this regional ceramic maker makes this piece a rare find. The clay used in their productions was also local to that area in Kansas. The bottom of this piece reads Miltonvale 601. Condition: Absolutely pristine with not a chip, fleabite, or blemish on it.
