A Set of 4 Elongated Cents (a.k.a. Smashed Penny) on hand made Trading Cards with a bonus Header Card. These trading cards were created to honor the pilots & their aircraft in World War II aerial warfare. It contains aircraft from both sides of the conflict. They were created to resemble American baseball cards from around 1941 down to the illustrated full color fronts & black ink on brown card stock backs. The trading cards are the same size as your standard baseball card - 2.5" x 3.5" & will be shipped in a clear plastic soft sleeve within a hard clear plastic top loader. Each card showcases an airplane that helped play a large part in the war. On the front of the cards is an illustration I created, "Allied" or "Axis" designation, the primary country's military insignia, & some important information about the aircraft. On the back of each card is the technical data, blueprint-like drawings I created, list of countries that flew the plane in the war, & the card number. Included in the set is a header card with another illustration on the front & information about how the United States got brought into World War II I designed the coins & cards.
