A beautiful art piece by British artist Hyam Myer (1904-1978), signed. I cannot discern if this is marble or onyx. It has the translucency that is characteristic of onyx. Very beautiful, impossible to capture in photos. So many layers & depths of colors & tones. He has done some sculptures of both male & female torsos, I almost see perhaps a tucked in figure? It is a stunning piece. Quite large at 21" tall. in excellent condition. Black base has some small paint chips, an easy touch up. Please contact for a shipping quote.
