Elegant Art Deco bracelet signed Simmons (a company that made absolutely wonderful jewelry). Simmons is a favorite of mine because of its very high quality manufacturing - many pieces that I sell are 70 - 80 years old but look like they were made yesterday. (I have a copy of the Simmons Catalog from 1940, which allows me to date these pieces with confidence.) The stones are blue - closer to teal or peacock than traditional blue. I've tried to capture the color in the photos. This graceful bracelet has a fluid drape - & a great art deco geometric motif. The links are interesting - they are what is now known as "sequin" shape, a popular current style. Bracelets like these sold for about $7.00 in 1940, or about $135 in 2021 dollars. CONDITION/SIZE: in excellent condition. About 7" long & 1/4" wide - this bracelet fits a MEDIUM wrist. LINKS: I carry a wide variety of items in my shop (growing by the day).
