This antique, cast iron, Detecto baby scale is rare & beautiful! It is a large, light blue, Doctor's Infant, working scale. It has a rectangular base, a sliding weight scale, & a scooped scale to hold a baby up to 30 pounds. This scale was manufactured in the 1930s by Jacob Bros. Co. & it has a slide bar with Height - Weight-Age Tables for boys & girls on each side of the bar. It is a heavy, industrial, beam type, baby scale which comes with the original, heavy weights attached to a hook for easy weighing. This baby scale is in excellent, antique condition. This baby scale is perfect to display or use in a doctors office, baby retail store, a shower display, or a nursery . This soft blue color, scale would also look pretty holding plants, flowers, & more!
