Very Rare Vintage Tin Special Police Badge Hancock County Tennessee Sheriff's Department 1950s - 1960s ~ "Home of the Mulegeons" The mystique of the Mulegeons in the late 1950s & 1960s led the Hancock County Sheriff's Department to add this to their badge. Local restaurants sold Mulegeons burgers & everything that was ever associated with a Mulegeon was turned into a tourist attraction. This makes me think this was one of the later series of badges & could be the 1960s. These are very well made out of a beautiful tin litho front & thick plastic back & they look amazing! Badge 1 1/2" ~ Card 4" x 2 1/4" ~ This is a very rare find made in the 1950s as part of the Japanese rebuilding project General Macarthur ran.
