The pennant measures 16 x 8.5 & is in good displayed condition Made of wool felt by Philip & Piper of Auckland New Zealand. Bougainville was a hotly contested island during WWII & was one of the last Japanese outposts to surrender. This was probably produced well after the end of the war.
