Description: This listing is for a custom-made-to-order REAL, FUNCTIONAL NEON replica of the red Bibi's Bar neon sign from Blade Runner 2049, the Denis Villeneuve-directed sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic. You've spent years collecting posters, blasters, glasses, bottles, lamps, ashtrays, replicant photos, origami unicorns, & other knick-knacks to feed your Blade Runner obsession, but the shrine you've built for this dystopian future-noir sci-fi classic has gotten stale with age, & most likely you've long run out of space on your shelves, book cases, & desk for new additions. Plus you'd like to incorporate elements from the very respectable sequel, which you of course own in 4K, & objectively is technically far superior to the original Ridley Scott film, if only because 35 years have allowed Denis Villeneuve to integrate the latest visual & digital effects lighting, & camera technology. You look up at your wall - there's an empty spot over your bar, in your home theater, or even in the kitchen - the perfect spot to showcase your appreciation for the beautifully-shot Blade Runner sequel, which is high on style, but very low on actual neon - until the Bibi's Bar scene with Officer K & Mariette, who chews up the scenery with her waifish smile & sparkling eyes. What's missing is a bright neon sign to remind you of that scene, that deliberately mirrors the scene where Deckard meets Rachael in the original film, in which the replicant hunter's character & integrity are immediately challenged by a female replicant. This sets the tone for the rest of the film & leads the hero to question his own values & loyalties. Specifications: The Bibi's Bar neon sign is offered in two sizes: 18.5 cm x 97.5 cm, & 35 cm x 195 cm size. Both come in three mounting configurations: highly-reflective polished black acrylic, polished clear acrylic, & matte-black painted acrylic backplate.
