This unique ceramic sculpture would be a perfect house warming gift or why not treat yourself...imagine where you would ask this wee' fellow to take you. Climb up the ladder & off you go!! I love the creative process while sculpting. I start off with a loose idea & let my creativity take the lead.. This wee' fellow was made by hand, after he's leather hard I painted him with copper oxide. I then remove the majority of the oxide , leaving elements to enhance the expression. I then paint over the oxide with engobes. The piece is fired to 1,186.
