Description

Our BYERS' CHOICE SALVATION ARMY Girl With Tambourine is so adorable! It was in 1891 that Captain Joseph McFee set up the first Christmas kettle to collect donations to raise money in order to offer free Christmas dinners to the poor of San Francisco. Our delightful SALVATION ARMY girl is so irresistible in her bright red sweater & cape, dark blue skirt & matching blue cap with s blue ribbon. She holds her white & gold tambourine with red & blue ribbons attached in her hands. She's so proud as she stands shaking her tambourine to get the attention of passers-by. Our young girl is in fine, vintage condition with no issues. She has her SALVATION ARMY hangtag attached to her right arm. She stands approximately 10" tall & is signed simply "Byers" on the top, at the back of her base. She comes with a BYERS' CHOICE storage box which is also vintage & has some handwriting in pen on it. Is this Byers' Choice SALVATION ARMY Caroler the one that you need to enhance your collection for Christmas?
