Beautiful Amethyst & sterling silver ring, 1970s vintage. A unique handmade piece. Features a square-cut & faceted Amethyst gem, an unusual hand-wrought silver studded setting, a small window in the back of the setting (this allows light to shine through the stone, & for the crystal to touch the skin). & lots of Art Deco glamour... Stamped '925' for sterling silver, as well as the artist's name Size 9.5 gemstone & setting roughly 3/4 of an inch by 3/4 of an inch ring shank just over 1/8 of an inch thick Some general wear & a little tarnishing. This could easily be polished away if desired, but I prefer to leave my vintage pieces showing their age. Have a question? Get in touch!
