ATTENTION 12 inch GI Joe fans, My version of the vintage Jeep Steering Wheel, Column & Horn Cap. Thank you for your interest in this item. As a vintage GI Joe action figure collector, I know first hand how difficult it is to find these missing parts. For years I have looked for an affordable option & I decided to tackle this issue by designing my own version. This is not a recast, or scan, but a completely new 3D model created by me, solely for this purpose. An affordable alternative to the expensive originals. Here's what's included: Three Piece kit includes the Steering Wheel, Column, & horn cap. 3D printed in Black color PLA+ at 0.2mm resolution detail 1/6th scale, like the original 3D Replica vs Hasbro's original This is a 12 inch GI Joe scale. Not intended for children under 14 years of age. Simply attach Column to Jeep. Slide wheel on Column, & add the cap to keep it all together. Limited Production Due to the 3D printing manufacturing process & the large amount of time involved in production, this initial release will be limited. About 3D Printing 3D prints do have some lines in them as part of the plastic extrusion process. I have tried to minimize this & the kit is ready to assemble right out of the box. If you want, sanding & painting is an option. The plastic used is common in 3D printing, called PLA. & the layer resolution is 0.2mm, or 0.008 inches. or less than 1/64". That less than a sheet of paper thickness! Each part is printed from 3D files that were individually created, edited & produced by me. Who is doing this? I've been a fan of GI-Joe since I was a kid growing up in the early 70's. I've actively collected Joe since the 1990s. I am just a Joe fan producing this for the adult collectors & am in no way affiliated with Hasbro. All logos & imagery associated with GI Joe are properties of Hasbro. This has been a labor of love for me & now, I feel I can share this with other Joe collectors. I've spent the better part of the past 2 years learning as much as I could about 3D printing, & that lead to me to 3D modeling, & finally to this project.
