Dung Beetles are the un-sung heroes of the ecosystem - they have a very important job to do. One of a set of 5 Devon Hedgerow insects printed on tiny off-cuts of vintage paper. The vintage handmade paper is from the historic Barchan Green papermill. Handmade in 1980 for the Royal Watercolour Society the paper needed extra soaking to make it printable with drypoint plates on the etching press at Double Elephant Print Workshop. Paper size : 9.5cm x 9.5cm / 3 ¾ inches x 3 ¾ inches Plate size : 3.5cm x 4.7 cm / 1 ¼ inches x 1 ¾ inches THIS particular print is sold unframed & is easy to post anywhere.
