As a Texas girl, I had dreamed of visiting this vast wilderness most of my life. Getting there was a definite challenge - over 20 years of dreaming, 1,600 miles on a plane, & two days of driving! We drove over the "Going to the Sun Road" to the west side of the park, & this sprawling view took my breath away. Jagged mountain peaks rose above the glassy reflective water & looking every bit & more of the "dream image" I had in my mind of this beautiful place!
