This portable table or workshop vise is larger & heavier than most portable vises. Probably from the 1930s or thereabouts, this one is unmarked. This clamp is in good working condition & has only minimal superficial surface rust & flaking paint & a few stray drips of paint. The jaws open & close properly, & the fastening screw also turns properly, & both would benefit from lubrication. The jaws are 2 1/2" wide. When fully open, the vise jaws are 2 1/2" apart. It measures about 5 1/2" long when the screw is fully compressed, & the vise is about 7 1/8" high. It weighs about 3 1/2 pounds so you know this is sturdy, stable, & very strong.
