Vicarious Hedonism. JA himself is a teetotaler who gets his vicarious thrills through art, & our hand-beaded Quaaludes pillow is especially delirium inducing. Inspired by counterculture designs from the 60strippy, colorful typography laced with sparkly gold. We collaborated with an artisanal workshop in India where a master beader imbued our clean graphic designs with craftsmanship & soul. Each artwork is hand-beaded on linen ground & takes nearly 100 hours to create. Beads of varying heights & patterns within patterns create a sense of depth & dimension.
