Bewitching antique late 1910s or early 1920s beaded black chiffon & satin flapper dress with the most amazing sheer sorceress sleeves in near excellent condition! She's styled with a square cut neckline & her bodice is made up of 3 layers with the outermost sheer silk chiffon layer featuring floral beadwork designs. I cannot get over her sheer sleeves - angel wing or sorceress they both seem fitting. The metallic gold lamé waistband draws the eye & the below knee to ankle length skirt showcases more beadwork designs. She closes with numerous hook/eyes down interior bodice with quite a few snaps to left side of outer layers along with some snaps along waistline & partially down the skirt. Inner waist has a grosgrain type waistband - see pics for detail. Label: B. Altman & Co. Paris New York Content: Silk chiffon, satin, glass beadwork Best Fit: Small to Small/Medium Bust: 34-35" Waist: 31" (8 1/2" below underarm - there is a stitched seam underneath lamé band) Hip: up to 52" Length: 46" Shoulder Width: Approx. 14 1/2" Sleeve Length: 37" to pointed hem of winged sleeve For reference shown on dress form with 37" bust & 27" waist. The bust was tight so I recommend 34-35" max. Waist fit very nice at 27" due to the inner construction. Condition: Near Excellent! / Presents Amazing! 2 minor spots to 2nd inner bodice (cannot see on outside). 2 holes to chiffon sleeve near hem, tear to chiffon @ left underarm & tiny hole to bodice. Minor wear spot at left shoulder. Small portion of chiffon at right underarm has detached & needs stitches to close. I've reinforced all loose beads that I discovered.
