One of the most interesting lamps of Danish design. Charlottenborg was originally designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1930s. in 1979, it was redesigned by Sophus Frandsen & Ebbe Christensen specifically for the Charlottenborg Building in Copenhagen. This smaller version, 5-4½, was created for the concert hall in Aarhus in 1984. The 4-screen lamp has been designed to increase the amount of light emitted horizontally from the lamp, which results in the better wall & shelf lighting than a regular 3-screen lamp. The lamp is produced to this day by Louis Poulsen, only at request. The lamp is in good condition, with natural traces of use.
