This is for two Vintage Virginia Metalcrafters Brass Leaf Sculptures. Brass footed Christmas Holly Leaf Sculpture that measures 4" long x 1 3/4" wide & weighs around 2+ oz. is signed VMC 3-35 & looks like the date copyright is 1940 something. Footed Mulberry Leaf Sculpture is signed & reads CW Mulberry 3-27, looks like date copyright is 1948. Measures 5-1/4" long by 3 3/8" wide. Weighs around 10+ oz. They are finely crafted pieces with beautiful workmanship & fine detailing, a trademark of the VA Metalcrafters. These are in good condition for age with average wear, tarnishing scuffs scratches, imperfections & still look great!! Little history found at bottom of page of this great company! Made in the 40's. Additional Info: Virginia Metalcrafters (VM) was founded in 1895 as the W. J. Loth Stove Company of Waynesboro, Virginia. (In 1890 it was called the Waynesboro Stove Company - still Mr. Loth.) They initially manufactured cast iron stoves & wood & coal heaters. in 1938 Loth installed a brass foundry & Virginia Metalcrafters became the brand name of the company's brass & iron giftware line. March 1, 1940 marked the first use of the VM Betty Lamp hallmark on their products.
