With some designs dating back to 1861, this collection is a truly timeless classic. Morris was part of a group in the UK that rebelled against the industrial revolution by meticulously hand-crafting beautiful things for the home. & unlike other reproductions, these prints are all hand-colored by artists using the original carved plates made by Morris & his apprentice. Since neither Morris nor his assistant had any heirs, these plates are now owned by the high-end wallpaper company, Sanderson, purchased from the assistant's estate over 100 years ago.
